Storage limit reached

What to do when a save fails with "storage limit reached": check usage, free space, or request more storage or a bigger plan.

Open the Usage tab in Nubo Home to see what is using your space, then delete or move files, or request more storage in Billing. Free has 5 GB, Pro 100 GB and Business 1 TB; extra storage comes in 100 GB blocks.

Whose quota applies?

  • Your own files count against your plan.
  • A file someone shared with you counts against the owner’s quota, so a writer’s save can fail when the owner’s storage is full.
  • Team drive files count against the team’s pooled quota, and the drive refuses uploads at 100 percent.
  • Projects, shared Wiki spaces and Help Desk data count against the owner’s own quota.

What do I do?

  1. Check Usage for what uses storage.
  2. Delete what you no longer need. Items in the team drive trash still count until purged.
  3. Ask an admin to add storage, or request an upgrade in Billing. See Plans and seats.
