Teams and sharing
How to create a team, invite people, set roles, share files and use the team drive. Seats and limits are explained here.
A team (an organization) is how people work together in Nubo: everyone you invite is a member in every Nubo app, with the same people to share with and one shared drive. You manage it in the Teams tab of Nubo Home.
What is in this section?
- Teams and roles: create a team and understand owner, admin and member.
- Invites and members: invite by username or email, copy the link, revoke, remove.
- Sharing files: share with a person, a team or an email; public links; limits on sharing outside the team.
- Team drive: the shared drive that the team owns.
- Plans and seats: how seats are counted and what happens at the limit.
How do I get started?
- Create a team in the Teams tab with a name and, optionally, your own domain.
- Invite people. Each invitation reserves a seat.
- Put shared files in the team drive, or share a folder.
- Optionally require two-step verification for everyone. See Security settings for a team.
What does a team not do?
- Storage is pooled only for the team drive. Data in Projects, shared Wiki spaces and Help Desk counts against the owner’s own quota.
- Removing a person from a shared project does not remove them from the team, and a colleague who left a team keeps file access they were given until you unshare.
