Communicate apps

Mail, Teams, Meet, Calendar, Contacts and Sign: how the communication apps fit together and what their limits are.

The Communicate family is Mail, Teams (chat), Meet (video calls), Calendar, Contacts and Sign (electronic signatures). They share your people, so an invitation, a contact or a meeting link in one shows up in the others.

Which apps are in this family?

App What it does
Mail Email for your team with conversation threads, undo send, rich-text composing and signatures, sending from your own @nubo.email address.
Teams Team chat with channels, threads, direct messages, huddles, scheduled messages and guest access for clients, in your own Nubo workspace.
Meet Video meetings with permanent links, a waiting room, screen sharing, background blur, noise suppression and recording that everyone can see.
Calendar A calendar with month, week, day and agenda views, recurring events, emailed invitations with RSVP, reminders and one-click video links.
Contacts An address book with tags, favorites, instant search and vCard import, plus AI that turns a pasted email signature into a ready contact.
Sign Send PDFs for electronic signature with fields, reminders, deadlines, templates and a certificate page. Signers need no account.

How do they work together?

  • Mail and Calendar. A calendar invitation in a message is shown as a card with the title, time, location, organizer and guests above the text.
  • Calendar and Meet. An event can carry a Meet link that opens the room.
  • Teams and Meet. In Teams you can start a meeting from the message composer.
  • Mail and the work apps. In Mail you can create a task, a Help Desk ticket, a CRM lead or deal, or a note from a message. The receiving app reads the request from its own inbox and does not create the same item twice.
  • Contacts. Mail suggests people you have written to; Contacts imports and exports vCard (.vcf).

What are the limits?

  • Cross-app requests (for example “create a ticket from this email”) are picked up when the receiving app is next opened. They are not instant.
  • Reminders and scheduled sends run only while the app is open. See Reminders and recurring items.
  • Mail has no Bcc field, because every recipient gets identical bytes.
  • DKIM signing for custom-domain mail is not built; see Custom domain and mail.
  • Meet has no published limit on group size; quality drops as a group grows.
