3D

Model, sculpt, rig, animate and render 3D scenes in the browser, with node-based shading, physics, a path tracer and glTF, FBX, OBJ and USD support.

A 3D modeling, sculpting and rendering app in the browser, for designers, hobbyists and small studios. Model a character, set up a shader and render the result, then bring in assets from other tools and send finished scenes back out.

Where do I open 3D?

Open 3D at https://3d.nubosuite.tech or from the Apps tab in Nubo Home. You sign in once with your Nubo account for every app; see Create an account and sign in.

What can 3D do?

  • Model and sculpt. Edit meshes and curves, with about 20 sculpt brushes.
  • Animate and rig. Keyframes, armatures, IK, shape keys and drivers.
  • Render. Real-time viewport or a progressive path tracer with denoising.
  • Many file formats. glTF, FBX, OBJ, STL, PLY, USD and .blend import.

Modeling tools you can stack

Extrude, bevel, loop cut and knife on meshes, then add modifiers such as Subdivision, Boolean, Mirror and Array. Geometry Nodes handle procedural work with fields and instances.

Shade, simulate and render

Wire up about 80 shader nodes, run rigid body, cloth, soft body, particle and smoke simulations, and render stills or animations to PNG, JPEG, WebP or WebM.

Describe what you want built

The AI assistant sidebar reads the scene, writes scripts against the scripting API and applies them, so you can ask for a change instead of hunting through menus.

What else is in 3D?

  • Workspaces. Layout, Modeling, Sculpting, UV, Shading, Animation and more.
  • Compositor. A GPU node compositor with a backdrop.
  • Video sequencer. Cut strips and mix audio inside the same project.
  • Motion tracking. Track footage, solve cameras and stabilize shots.
  • 2D animation. Grease Pencil drawing and SVG import and export.
  • Scripting. JavaScript offline, or Python loaded on first use.

Which apps does 3D work with?

3D works with CAD, Parametric, Building design, Video, Photos, Vector. Apps in one team share the same people and the same team drive; see Teams and sharing.

Common questions about 3D

What can I import?

Files with the .blend extension from versions 2.80 to 5.x, glTF, GLB, FBX, OBJ, STL, PLY, USD, Collada and Alembic.

Do I need to install anything?

No. It needs a browser with WebGL2, such as a current Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari.

Does my work survive a crash?

Yes. The native .p3d format has autosave and recovery.
