Plans and seats

How Free, Pro and Business plans differ, what a seat is, and how to ask for more seats or an upgrade.

Nubo has three plans (Free, Pro and Business). A team buys a number of seats, and every active member and every pending invitation uses one seat. There is no card checkout inside the apps yet: you request an upgrade in Home and our team completes it with you.

What are the plans?

All plans include all 51 apps. They differ in limits.

Free Pro Business
Storage 5 GB 100 GB 1 TB
Mailbox 2 GB 20 GB 50 GB
AI chat requests per day 50 1,000 10,000

Prices are per seat per month and differ by country. See nubosuite.tech/en-in/pricing for yours. We do not quote prices in these docs.

How do I upgrade?

Open Billing in Nubo Home, compare the plans and choose Request upgrade. The page says “We will contact you to complete it”. The request stays “pending” until we do. Online card payment inside the apps is not built; if you are told otherwise, check with support.

What is a seat?

A seat is one person in an organization (a team). The team has a purchased number of seats.

  • Every active member uses a seat. Disabling a member frees it.
  • Every live invitation reserves a seat until it is accepted, expires or is revoked.
  • Names that only appear on the admin roster, such as mailboxes found on the mail server, use no seat until the person joins.
  • Public links, “anyone with an account” shares and whole-team shares do not add an individual, so they use no seat.

A team with no seat limit set is not blocked, apart from a platform cap of 500.

What happens when the seats run out?

Inviting, adding or re-enabling a person fails with a “seat limit” message. Sharing a file with a named person outside your organization also asks for a seat when your organization has a limit. An owner or admin can request more seats; an administrator on our side approves them. The owner’s seat numbers can be read in the Teams tab.

Is there a seat screen?

Seat counts are managed through our administrators and the admin API today. There is no self-service seat purchase screen yet, and no link from seats to billing.

Where does the storage of a team count?

Team drive storage is pooled for the team; see Team drive. Data in Projects, shared Wiki spaces and Help Desk is not pooled yet and counts against the owner’s own quota.
